Welcome to Europa Italian Restaurant Bristol

Europa Italian Restaurant Celebrates it’s 25th year in Business!

“What is the recipe for success?” Europa certainly has the answer this authentic Italian Restaurant has been run by Pietro & Teresa Tallo for the last 25 years.  This award winning restaurant is one of the original family run Italian eateries in Bristol’s vibrant food and drinks culture which includes a burgeoning scene of award-winning places to eat, Michelin-starred chefs and food festivals.  However, this top Italian restaurant in central Bristol has proved it’s the best and can stand the test of time by staying current and trendy with endless amounts of passion from its owners.

A taste of italy in the heart of Bristol

Europa Italian Restaurant has been re-branded and undergone a major refurbishment; this is the third major refit in the restaurant’s history which has seen off three recessions not to mention three Prime Ministers. Europa now has a very Venetian, rustic, relaxed feel about it which has been achieved by using reclaimed materials which have been sourced locally plus traditional Italian furniture imported direct from Florence which gives the place a unique Italian charm.

Pietro, Teresa and their team serve traditional, honest Italian cuisine at its very best. All our food is freshly prepared to create those wonderful Italian flavours. We use only the finest ingredients; all of our cured meats and Italian produce are sourced direct from Italy and use local suppliers for all our butchery, fish and green grocery needs.

The perfect place for lunch, pre-theatre meal or special occasion.

Europa is spread across two floors, the 1st floor restaurant has its own bar and is great for private and corporate functions the main restaurant down stairs has bi-folding windows which open onto Europa’s new Alfresco Dinning area which really makes this Italian restaurant stand out from the crowd. The restaurant is ideally situated near to Bristol Hippodrome and harbourside, between Baldwin Street and Corn Street amongst the beautiful and historical buildings of the “Old City” home to the famous St Nicholas Market, commonly known as St Nicks.

This 5 star rated Italian restaurant speaks for itself serving good, traditional, honest Italian cuisine daily. Europa has been reviewed by hundreds of guest on “Tripadvisor” as the best Italian restaurant in Bristol.

Europa’s ethos is simple – enjoyable, unforgettable, reputation, original, passion, atmosphere and great food.

Some Recent Reviews of Europa Italian Restaurant on Trip Advisor…

Europa has gone through a revamp over the past couple of months, which has changed or shall I say improved the appearance and ambiance of this restaurant. However, there is no change to the welcome from Teresa and Pietro and their staff, which is always warm and friendly. Europa is our favourite restaurant in Bristol, with great value authentic Italian food. If getting it right is an art, then move over Picasso!!David M
After visiting this restaurant on several occasions, I thought it was about time I gave this place a review worthy of the experience.

Located along Baldwin Street in Bristol city centre, now being well known for its concentration of Italian restaurants, this is definitely one of the finest examples in the area. It has recently been renovated and now looks modern, but still retaining a lovely traditional atmosphere. It is family run with excellent service which really makes you feel at home. One of the owners occasionally meets and greets the guests in the dining area as if they are members of their own family, something that is unique from any other restaurant I have visited.

The food; where to start? Freshly prepared pasta and pizza with quality ingredients, a large selection of meats and sides complete a traditional Italian offering. On
each visit I have not been disappointed, it’s hard to see how anyone could be. It’s also competitively priced, with an early bird menu available if needed.

To finish, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more. There is a Bella Italia on the same street and to see it busier than Europa on some occasions is absolutely tragic. For a traditional Italian experience go here. I guarantee you will not regret it.Jhuxtable

We ate at Europa before a show at the Hippodrome, which is very close by. We chose from the pre-theatre fixed price menu which was very good value. The service was friendly and efficient, the food arrived promptly and was delicious. No complaints at all.GregAnnaH
