WE’RE COOKING UP A STORM TO CELEBRATE BRISTOL HARBOUR FESTIVAL

It’s almost time for one of our favourite events of the year – the Bristol Harbour Festival.

Taking place on the weekend of July 15-17, this year’s festival is promising to be as jam-packed and family friendly as ever.

There will be music from legends Echo and the Bunnymen, the kids can learncircus tricks like plate-spinning and the harbour will become temporary home to a festival fleet of boats and ships.

For us, the festival is part of what makes Bristol such a special place to live, and there’s something special about watching the historic harbourside come to life over the three-day event.

The floating harbour was established back in the 1800s as a solution for Bristol merchants who didn’t want ships to be restricted by the frequent rise and fall of the tide.

For almost 200 years, it was a busy commercial port. These days, you can still spot lots of boats on the harbour – but they are for pleasure rather than business.

As our Italian restaurant is located just a short walk from Bristol Harbour in the heart of the city centre, we love getting involved in the festival spirit.

This year, our recently refurbished al fresco dining area will offer festival goers the chance to enjoy our authentic Italian cuisine while soaking up the atmosphere.
