Recent News at Europa

It’s now less than 20 days to go until our 25th Anniversary celebrations take place and Europa is throwing a party. If your an e-Club member and yet to confirm your attendance then hit your “RSVP” button.  Pietro will be laying on an authentic Italian buffet – a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach plus a barbecue weather permitting not forgetting a glass of Prosecco to toast this historic milestone in Europa’s history.  Entertainment will come in the form of karaoke with a “Rat Pack” theme so if your an e-Club member get your name on the guest list.

Puttin’ on the Ritz – Bristol Hippodrome (Visit Website)

Featuring dance stars Trent and Gordana and Robin and Anya from the hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing, along with special guest, X factor and Dancing On Ice singing sensation Ray Quinn. Puttin On The Ritz takes you on a wonderful musical journey and features music from George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter. Grab your ticket online, last show is on Saturday 12th.

Encounters Film & Animation Festival (Visit Website)

The Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival is an annual event in Bristol which takes place over at the Watershed. Taking place on the 15th until 20th September the festival will showcase some of the best upcoming talent from 1000’s of submissions. Across the 6 days there is a selection of screenings, talks and Q&A’s. View the full programme here.

Grape and Grain Festival 2015 (Visit Website)

The Grape and Grain Festival is a celebration of Bristol’s wine and beer. Starting on Friday evening until Sunday there will be food and drink demos along with a selection of local street food stalls and traders.
The Grape & Grain Festival takes place on 18th September until 20th, tickets can be purchased online or through Bristol Ticket Shop.

Europa Film Premiere

We have had a short film commissioned for our 25th Anniversary produced and directed by Nigel from Night Sheep Productions. The film will be premiered during our party celebrations on the 27th September.

Shaun In The City Exhibition (Visit Website)

If you didn’t manage to complete the Shaun In The City trails, then fear not as all of the Shaun’s have come together from Bristol & London for an Exhibition at The Mall Cribbs Causeway from 12th until 20th September. Tickets have sold out online but more will be released visit the website for more information.

In October the Shaun’s will be auctioned to raise funds  go off to auction to raise funds for the The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity.

Dismaland (Visit Website)

Located on the Seafront of Weston-Super-Mare in the existing Tropicana site, Banksy and a selection of other artists have come together to create one of the most dismal family attractions which definitely leaves food for thought. If you still haven’t had chance to visit it’s only open until the end of September.
